Yelp The Asamai Hindu Temple is one block away from the the Ganesh Hindu Temple in Flushing, New York. It is a small temple, but one gets a sense of peace when there. The area of Bowne street, Flushing is as close to the Hindu area as one could get. It is full of life and there is vegetarian restaurant that offers the best south Indian dishes I have ever had. The original Asamai Hindu Temple is in Kabul, Afghanistan. It is located in the heart of Kabul and the city of Kabul is built around this temple. It shows the deep connection of Kabul with Hinduism.5 stars
