Historical Review Excerpts

Google A very well constructed Hindu temple located a bit far from the city. If you are looking for a spiritual and peaceful day away from city's busy life with greenery around then THIS is the place to be. The temple is huge with very good facilities. There is a food court where you can get Indian vegetarian food Alo with snacks. The food is really tasty with authentic Indian taste.5 Stars
Google Very nice temple. Enough parking space available. The temple is made very artistically. The food court is serving very nice Gujarati food. Basic snacks and sweets are also available for purchase. The temple narrates the contribution of ancient India to the world. Must visit.5 Stars
Google This was an amazing experience. It was so peaceful with amazing carvings and architecture. It is a must see while in St. Charles.5 Stars
Google Good and very spiritual place. Very good information on walls within tunnel benith. Food options good.4 Stars
Google Very divine and peaceful. Just looking at the murti of lord swaminarayan you can reach to your inner soul. Mandir has a welcoming theme and its sculpture work is very detailed and whole mandir is made of limestone.5 Stars
Yelp Eye mesmerizing place , a must visit Hindu temple, beautiful architecture , lot of parking space5 Stars
Yelp Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful temple. Dedicated staff and worshippers alike. Extremely well maintained and managed during massive events like Diwali and the Hindu New Year. Two unique halls available for rent. Gift shop available for small goods and religious items. Excellent food. Peaceful environment within and open to all.5 Stars
Yelp THE most beautiful place in Chicago! If there is one place I would take a non Indian to know about India, I would bring them here. It is a beautiful and precise representative of Indian architecture and culture. If you go here, I would highly recommend reading the posters along the pathway to the mandir (shrine). They talk volumes about ancient Indian scientist and their inventions. Very informative and a must go to everybody that visits Chicago. The restaurant has yummy food too!5 Stars
Yelp Oh, my favorite place to pray and reflect. Love the inside and outside of the temple. They have a little shop inside and food place (which is comparable to an indian panda express). Cannot wait for summer to walk around the temple :D5 Stars
