Historical Review Excerpts

Review snippets came from the source workbook and may reflect public reviews available around 2018.

Google Went with some friends on June 3rd, 2018 to check it out. It's a beautiful 3 story temple that sticks out of the Iowa farmland like a shiny alabaster beacon to art and craftmanship. When we arrived, we took off our shoes and then walked right in. There was a ceremony and we were welcomed into the inner hall. Everyone was friendly and we had lunch with them. It was a wonderful vegetarian meal with lots of variety. The children that came with us enjoyed the playground. This is a really great place with a friendly culture, so please check out their customs and rules (like no shoes or cameras inside, silencing cellphones during ceremonies, etc.), so we can preserve it and continue visiting it.5 Stars
Google Simply amazing and pleasing experience. It is a must go divine place.5 Stars
Google We stopped because the Temple caught our eye. We were invited in. The priest came and asked if we had questions. We witnessed an evening ceremony. It was beautiful and enlightening.5 Stars
Google Best in Iowa. Peaceful place and divine too.5 Stars
Google Very calm and peaceful temple.5 Stars
Yelp We were driving along highway 17 when we saw this Hindu Temple. It was gorgeous. A lot of statues on the building itself and around the surrounding area. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the temple. We did not go inside but it looked like it was open to the public and special ceremonies are held here. There were people dressed in traditional Indian clothes that looked like they were there to attend an event. I think it is required to remove shoes before entering the building because I saw a sign that said to place shoes on shoe racks.5 Stars
