Historical Review Excerpts

Review snippets came from the source workbook and may reflect public reviews available around 2018.

Google I have been visiting ISKON temples right from my childhood as me and my family share a strong and faithful bond with the all mighty Lord Krishna. It is the same peace and happiness I feel here as I felt back in India. People are so energetic and friendly that you feel surrounded by that harmony. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare.5 stars
Google Enjoy the heavenly radhe krishna deities, enlightening spiritual discourse and hari nam kirtan. On weekends its a joy to be there and they provide free food after maha arti. They also organize all the Indian festivals which are really enjoyable.5 stars
Google The best place for Krishna143 devotees. Calm place to meditation .5 stars

Yelp This is another great Hindu temple in Atlanta, GA. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple, known colloquially as the Hare Krishna movement or Hare Krishnas, is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu religious organisation. A spiritual community cultivating and inspiring people of all religions, nationalities and cultures in devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whom we know as Krishna. The Temple was first located on 13th Street in the Mid-Town Atlanta area before acquiring its present location at 1287 S. Ponce de Leon Ave in 1972. It is dedicated to serving the mission of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami by serving the greater Atlanta community and beyond; by nurturing and fostering a consciousness of Krishna for the benefit of all living entities as propagated by HDG Bhaktivedanta Swami.I always love visiting this Temple, getting associated and having great Prasadam/Prasad is simple with great test as home cooking. I feel peace and inner enjoyment during various Aarti and Bhagavat Gita lectures. I have been visiting this place for years now. Friendly folks, very welcoming and the mantra meditation has helped me perform better at work. They also serve a free delicious vegetarian feast every Sunday at 5 PM. It has a feel such as a magnetic pull to this Mandir/Temple. The idols of Krishna and Radha here are incredibly beautiful, two eyes are not enough to take in the beauty. The decorations are gorgeous. The place is cool and very peaceful. Go and feel blessed.5 stars
