Yelp Did I mention free Indian food on weekends? But, let me start with the basics, since this is a house of worship, not the House of India. This was the first of the two large Hindu temples in the area and caters predominantly to North Indians (the other one, a South Indian temple, is just a few miles west). I have found this temple to have a more sociable atmosphere compared to the South Indian temple, which is more businesslike (the business being prayer). It also features more lectures, classes, and festive functions, like the always fun Garba, which could be described as Indian line dancing with sticks, if that makes any sense!Yes, they do serve free food on the weekends and it is very good - roti, subjees, kesari, rice, etc. But, I do not know its regularity or timings, so you can either take your chances or make that awkward phone call and ask, "When are you serving the free food?"4 stars
Yelp This is a North Indian temple.I went 3 times.each time the priest was rude. I dont like their attitude of talking to devotes in such ways.They can talk kindly .but they never does. 1st time he told ''Here do ur work yourselves.put fruits in thali,put flowers in gods feets.Here every body doing their own work.'' Dont stand here go down.but their I saw some people were standing and seating their .Am I a PAPI. 2nd time wrongly i touches the water which was kept in a container.The Priest suddenly came to me and told ''Dont touch any thing.ask what you want.we have to trough the water ,because you toughed the water.'' I do not Know why he behave like this?very very rude. I am not happy.each time i went for santi...And back with anger.This temple is made for twhome ? not for us like small devotes.1 star
