The Hindu Temple of St. Louis

Google Temple is beautiful and has some good priests. They do celebrate all festivals and perform puja in a grand way. This is a place of worship and people come here for peace of mind. However the management is arrogant and obnoxious. They do not treat people with respect. Even a simple question if answered is in a really rude manner. Spoils your day after a peaceful visit. Lately after every puja and when you come in and out they are literally forcing people donations/fund raising- which is getting annoying. It has become a place of business and losing its sanctity.1 Star

Google Donation! Donation! Donation! they will ask you so many times, they will not let you have peace. A great place but management is spoiling it. They will sell food on above market price and will ask Donation for cafeteria LOGIC!!! i had donated anyway what i had to without anyone asking for it. i bought food from cafeteria and the moment i was about take first bite, they had donation announcement, hhhh food didn't go in so well. i am a PROUD Hindu and i would call this place "Hindu business center of religious belief". This place is to go, watch and come back. Don't let anybody make business out of your belief. Thank you for reading.1 Star

Google Its is exquisite Hindu Temple in St. Louis. It is immense in size and always filled with lots of prayers. They have very big parking on site. They have many in-house priests who always ready to help people for special pooja. They celebrate mostly all Hindu festivals with proper management. They have many statues of god. The inside environment is peaceful. I love to meditate my mind inside the temple. They have Canteen at the basement with varsities of Indian dishes. I love their Tea. I go Hindu temple mostly on festival time. Its good place to go for Hindus.5 Stars

Google Like the temple, but management is very rude and impatient. Volunteers are quite mannerless. I understand that they are volunteering and not paid, but why take up a job just to act like they are doing someone a favor.3 Stars

Yelp Had a very friendly tour guide Ram who showed us around the temple. Photographs are not allowed inside the temple, only the exterior. The exterior is exquisite. The interior is a collection of statues of various hindu deities. I enjoy how he explained the workings of the temple. There is nothing mystical or mysterious here. Just a celebration and reverence for all the various aspects of life as we know it. I wish we could all embrace each other regardless of ourdelusions. Educating each other about our seeming differences is the key. Knowledge is the answer.5 Stars
