Google This is a place to learn about reality from a truly remarkable teacher. A prize of the Bay Area.5 Stars
Google I had a pleasant evening at San Jose unit of Vedanta Society on the 18th of December, 2016.The meeting attended a small group of devotees was organized to celebrate Holy Sri Sarada Ma's Birthday. After puja and aarti by Revered Maharaj Prasannatmananda, the Swami in charge, both at Berkeleyand the centre at SJ, Swamiji spoke at length on the significance of Mother's life in the development of Sri Ramakarishna movement. He also laid emphasis on certain apparently small and mundane matters which Sri Mother took care to perform properly in order to have a trouble free life - a life free from unnecessary strain and tension. Prasadam was distributed at the end. Our grateful thanks to the Maharaj and the band of ardent devotees who had organized such a grand celebration.5 Stars

Yelp Such a wonderful temple. Serene and spiritual in the midst of berkeley A block up from telegraph and across the street from peoples park a sactuary of calm. Dear Swamis5 Stars
Yelp We went to a lovely service and mediation on Christmas Eve. The temple is family friendly. The Vedanta philosophy originates from the Ramakrishna order, India. Swami Vivekananda came to the United States at the turn of the century to share the philosophy that all religious paths lead to the light. We enjoyed hearing the universal perspective of the birth of Jesus.5 Stars
